Warm hikes in the summer and brisk sunshine ski laps in winter calls for soups, sandwiches, and great beverages. The Bore Tide Bar is a modern outlet offering panoramic views of Turnagain Arm, the Chugach Mountain Range, and seven “hanging” glaciers.

The deli is a self-service dining experience featuring sandwiches, salads, chili, wraps, and snacks. A memorable way to enjoy a meal at 2,300 feet above the Turnagain Arm. A signature cocktail list allows you to purchase a meal at the deli and join us at the bar to relax!

The Atmosphere

With textured wood and river rock finishes, and a signature cocktail list that reflects the contemporary yet casual atmosphere, the Bore Tide Deli and Bar is one of our best mountaintop hangouts.

The large outdoor deck provides plenty of sunshine for relaxing and taking in the views A favorite hangout during spring when the snow starts to melt to grab a quick lunch or drink.

Small bites and sandwiches are available from inside the bar. You can also purchase your meal at the Deli and then join us at the bar to relax!

How to Get There

Combine the exhilaration of a ride on the Alyeska Aerial Tram with a hearty lunch at the Bore Tide Deli & Bar. Save 20% when you purchase a Dine & Ride ticket—$45 buys both a ride on the Aerial Tram and $20 worth of food and beverage at the Bore Tide Deli & Bar. Tickets can be purchased at the Tram Ticket Office outside the Tramway entrance to the Hotel Alyeska.

During the Summer guests can hike or mountain bike ride to the tram building (be sure to check updated openings on the trail status page. Your season pass gives you foot passenger access to the tram all summer and winter, so take advantage of the perks of being a pass holder even when you're not skiing or riding!
