About Us
Alaska Wild Guides, based in Girdwood, is a family-owned and operated business. We offer a range of different tours from snowmobile tours to jet ski trips.
We keep our snowmobile and jet ski tour groups small to enable us to cover more ground and expose you to more of Alaska’s unique wonders. Our guide service is located at the base of Mt. Alyeska, Alaska’s premier ski resort, surrounded by the raw majesty of the Chugach National Forest. Take a look at our site and see if these adventures call you like the call of the wild.

Activities & Tours
Jet Ski Tours
Our Glacier Jet Ski tours are conducted on top of the line SEADOO GTI’s 130, which are environmentally efficient and carry enough power to put speed curls in your hair. Climb aboard and get ready for an adventure of a lifetime. These boats are very stable and can accommodate up to two passengers so parents can take a child with them between the ages of 8 and 16.
Ten Glacier Jet Ski Tour: Depart directly from Whittier harbor and cruise 60+ miles of stunning coastline into Blackstone Bay, viewing up-to ten glaciers including two tidewater glaciers which produce icebergs that are the ideal habitat for harbor seals

Winter Snowmobile Tours
We offer visitors both multi-day and single-day snowmobile tours during the winter season from Dec 1 to April 20. Plus, we can tailor our tours to your skill level which means any of our snowmobile adventures are perfect for experienced and beginning riders alike.
Whether you have just a day or want to spend a week or two exploring everything winter in Alaska has to offer, we have a backcountry snowmobile adventure that’s right for you.
Glacier Day Tours - Touch and see a glacier up close.
Multi-day Adventure - 5 days --You get to visit two remote lodges while covering nearly 300 miles over frozen lakes, rivers, hills and winding forest to two different glaciers
Location
We are located in Whittier during the summers only. Our office is on Harbor Road in the Triangle Loop next to the China Sea Restaurant. In the winter, we meet our guests at Hotel Alyeska.
