Come and experience the excitement & adventure of Alaska! We have been a family-owned business for over 20 years with the experience to guide you safely into the backcountry. We offer snowmobile trips in the winter and world-class rafting/hiking in the summer to Portage Valley, Portage Creek, Portage Lake, Portage Pass and Portage Glacier. Are you an already experienced snowmobile rider? You can rent a machine from us and explore Alaska on your own!
Glacier City Snowmobile Tours is an eco-friendly tour operation utilizing modern, clean-burning, four-stroke snowmobiles. Our fleet of 4-stroke Ski-Doos are not only smoke-free but are very quiet giving you a much more enjoyable ride.

We are lucky to have some of the most seasoned guides in the whole state. They are not only highly trained in CPR/First Aid, Wilderness First Responders, and Avalanche Awareness- but have a knack for showing you a great time.

Snowmobile Tours
We have multiple tours available for all skill level riders. No matter if you are seeking adventure or a leisurely ride, the picturesque Chugach Mountains will mesmerize you with a desire to experience more.
You will navigate your own snowmobile into the Alaskan backcountry with your seasoned knowledgeable guide. Throughout your tour, our guides and staff will make sure that all of your needs are met.
Blue Ice Glacier Tour - Experience a Blue Ice Paradise. Access glaciers, icebergs, and incredible ice caves.
Scenic Mountain Tour - This is our “flagship” tour where you will follow your guide on private trails surrounded by the immense Chugach Mountains.
Northern Alaska Tour - These Alaska snowmobile tours take place north of Anchorage and are great for locals who want to explore beyond their normal riding areas.
Multi-day Tours - Experience either a 3-5 day tour with stays at remote lodges

Glacier Raft and Glacier Raft with Hiking Tour - Help your guide paddle across the vast Portage Lake with dramatic mountain views leading to the reveal of Portage Glacier, or let the guide do all the work and sit back to relax!
Rafting - Our float begins on the vast Portage Lake
